At the Canadian Human Connection Conference held in October 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Yeeun Archer Lee and Julia Nakamura led the session, “Exploring the Role of Volunteerism & Pro-Social Behaviour for Social Health & Wellness.” Yeeun presented her dissertation on how prosocial behaviours can alleviate social disconnection and loneliness, and Julia presented on motivators and barriers for engaging in volunteering.
