Keya Malhotra, Wenjing Cao, Cassidy Cardle, Luke Forrester, Jiayi Li, Nicholas Latimer, Isaaca Wang, Alice Erchov, Joshua Costa, and Linda Wang represented the lab at UBC’s Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference (PURC).
Julia Nakamura and Frances Chen were awarded a research grant from the Social Planning and Research Council of BC (SPARC BC)
This grant was focussed on addressing knowledge gaps in BC’s community social services sector.
Nicholas Latimer represented the lab at UBC’s Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC)
His presentation was entitled “The Association Between Hormonal Contraceptive Use and Symptoms of Psychopathology.”
Charlotte Roddick presented her research at the American Psychosomatic Society (APS) 80th Annual Scientific Meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Her presentation was entitled “Effects of Chronic and Acute Loneliness on High-Frequency Heart Rate Variability: Moderation by Biological Sex.”
Julia Nakamura presented her research at the SPSP Happiness and Well-Being Preconference
Her data-blitz presentation was entitled “Acts of Kindness in a Sociometric Network of Science One Students.”
